Very happy the hotel is at least partially open for guests. Still a beautiful place for peaceful prayer and contemplation. Prayed the Stations of the Cross this afternoon. Wonderful weather to be outside and spend some time with Our Lord.
The grounds themselves are breathtakingly beautiful. Perfect for a peaceful stroll in the morning. The staff were very nice and friendly. Everything was always clean. I have also been to there restaurant in the past and the food is good. What more can you ask for?
This is a "basic" hotel on the grounds of Our Lady of the Snows National Shrine. The rooms are reasonably sized and priced. The TV is old (nat a flat screen) but functional. Breakfast (including waffles) is included. The entire facility is very clean and well organized.
It's truly beautiful here. There are so many great things to see. You can drive around and see things but you can also travel by foot and look around the grounds. I enjoyed the servuce- we just moved here and loved our Catholic Church prior. This one made us feel right at home
They have very nice, spacious and cozy rooms. A wonderful place to get a spiritual recharge. Lots of space and the shrines are beautiful, I can't wait till they get the Stations of the Cross finished. A wonderful place for a quiet retreat.
The restaurant was serving a brunch buffet with an omlet station and waffle station along with various other items. There really truly something for everyone. The buffet items were fresh and everything was delicious. Would definitely visit again. Would recommend getting there right at 10am, because of church letting out at 10:30am.
I didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel as I was just meeting a friend in the lobby that was visiting from out of town. However the lobby seemed inviting and parking was easy. The seating arrangement was convenient and pleasurable. I did not need to contact the wait staff for anything but they seemed friendly and accessible.
A must stop if in the Saint Louis area. We stayed at the hotel on the grounds. Comfortable and clean. Toured the beauty of the grounds. Visited the visitor center and gift shop. Could have spent another day there. We missed the mass but pretty sure it would have been very inspiring like the rest of the community.
